New warning about herpes

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), about one out of six people in the United States aged 14 to 49 have genital herpes caused by the HSV-2 infection (herpes simplex virus responsible for genital herpes). The CDC states that the overall genital herpes statistic is probably higher since many people are also contracting genital herpes through oral sex caused by HSV-1 (herpes simplex virus responsible for cold sores).

Other than when infected during pregnancy, in terms of a person’s overall health, is it commonly thought that herpes is usually nothing to worry about. Nothing may be further from the truth. An international group of over 30 leading medical researchers published an editorial identifying the herpes virus and two bacteria as possible causes of Alzheimer’s disease: Click here.

Sadly, conventional/traditional medicine has nothing to offer in terms of eradicating herpes virus infections. On the other hand, alternative/integrative medicine may offer new hope. High-dose intravenous vitamin C has been used for herpes (click here). So has intravenous artesunate (click here). We currently combine the two for advanced-stage cancer patients (click here). There is no reason to believe that the same synergistic combination cannot be used for those with viral infections such as herpes. Furthermore, by adding ultraviolet blood irradiation, we may be able to achieve even greater results (click here).
